TUSCALOOSA, AL — One person was injured in a shooting Tuesday evening on Greensboro Avenue.

Tuscaloosa Police Department spokeswoman Stephanie Taylor confirmed to Patch that the initial call of the shooting came in at 5:07 p.m. Tuesday with a reported that someone had fired shots from a vehicle on Greensboro Avenue.

Taylor said a male victim was located in the 3800 block of Greensboro Avenue with injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening.

The case is now being handled by the multiagency Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit.

No word has been given on any potential suspects in the shooting.
