TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa Police Department says one person suffered life-threatening injuries in a shooting Saturday at Jaycee Park in Alberta City.

TPD spokeswoman Stephanie Taylor told local media the initial call of the shooting was received by dispatcher at 9:13 p.m. and the male victim has been transported to DCH Regional Medical Center.

Once on scene, the shooting victim was found in the area of the park's restrooms.
No arrests or suspects have been announced at this time.
