One Person Shot Sunday At Cottondale Apartment Complex

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa Police Department confirms that one person was injured in a Sunday afternoon shooting in Cottondale.

TPD says it received the initial call at 2:16 p.m. that one male victim had been shot at Cottondale Efficiency Apartments on University Boulevard.

The victim was transported to DCH Regional Medical Center and the extent of his injuries is not known at this time.

No other details, including arrests or suspects, has been released at this time.
