O'Neal Tapped To Lead HR Department At Bryant Bank

Bryant Bank has hired Audrey O'Neal as the financial institution's senior vice president and director of Human Resources.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Bryant Bank has hired Audrey O’Neal as the financial institution's senior vice president and director of Human Resources.

O'Neal joins Bryant Bank after nearly five years as Human Resources director for Alabama One. She also worked in various positions within the Human Resources department at the University of Alabama for almost two decades.

Her first day on the job was July 19. O'Neal also will be aided in the transition by the bank's long-time Human Resources Director Patty Ratliff through the end of 2022, before Ratliff assumes a new role for the bank.

Bryant Bank President Claude Edwards expressed his excitement for the hire, saying O'Neal will play an important role in helping develop and grow its team of bankers.

"With over 20 years of experience, Audrey brings extensive Human Resources knowledge and leadership experience to the bank," he said. "She has been an active member of the Tuscaloosa Human Resource Professionals, a local affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management, and has served as the Board Secretary since 2020."

O'Neal is an active participant in the Tuscaloosa arts community, is passionate about painting and enjoys the city’s many art events.

O'Neal and her husband Andy have three children, with their oldest daughter set to attend the University of Alabama as a freshman this fall.

Bryant Bank operates 18 branches in five Alabama markets – Baldwin County, Birmingham, Huntsville, Mobile and Tuscaloosa.
