The family-friendly Halloween event will offer two separate, socially-distant parts, including trick-or-treating and Movies In The Park
TUSCALOOSA, AL. — Sokol Park will play host on Friday, Oct. 30 to "Boo! In The Park," which will be sponsored by the Tuscaloosa County Park and Recreation Authority (PARA).
The family-friendly Halloween event will offer two separate, socially-distant parts: “Trick or Treat Trails” for K-8th graders and an outdoor movie double feature shown on an inflatable screen.
PARA Executive Director Gary Minor said parks have proven a valuable asset with the recent desire for many to get outdoors and enjoy some normal aspects of life in a safe way despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
