TUSCALOOSA, AL — Alabama ONE on Tuesday announced that Paul W. Bryant High sophomore kicker Diego Marquez is the financial institution's Athlete of the Week.

Marquez was nominated by Stampede John McKenzie, nominated him for his efforts in a 26-21 loss to Park Crossing in Montgomery to open the season.

Marquez went 3-for-3 on extra points, in addition to a successful onside kick and a 100% grade on kick-off assignment and placement.
Paul W. Bryant High (1-1) will return to action at home Friday night against Central (1-1).
