Pedestrian Seriously Injured In Hit-And-Run On Greensboro Avenue

Tuscaloosa police are asking for the public's help in locating the suspected driver involved in the hit-and-run Sunday morning.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — A 55-year-old man is hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after becoming the victim of a hit-and-run early Sunday morning while walking north on Greensboro Avenue near the 26th Street intersection.

The Tuscaloosa Police Department has yet to locate the driver involved in the incident, which occurred around midnight when the northbound driver struck the man and continued driving.

TPD says witnesses called 911 at 12:07 a.m., but were unable to provide a good description
of the vehicle.
