TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Paul W. Bryant Museum is all set to ring in the new college football season on Saturday with the debut of a brand new exhibit displaying the coat and hat worn by the legendary football coach during the 1982 Liberty Bowl.

As Patch previously reported, the 2022 season marks the 40th anniversary of Coach Paul W. "Bear" Bryant's final season. In honor of the occasion, UA says the Paul W. Bryant Museum is highlighting the legendary coach's career and the impact with a new exhibit featuring the jacket he wore during his final game.

The coat is on loan from Bryant's grandson, Marc Tyson, and will be on display through the summer of 2023.
