TUSCALOOSA, AL — Almost two dozen hungry competitors tried to prove their worth Tuesday night for a roll-eating contest to benefit some worthwhile causes in the Tuscaloosa area.

Hosted at Texas Roadhouse, 23 total participants were on hand for the event, with Tuscaloosa native Hunter Harvey taking home the top prize after eating 13 rolls in 10 minutes.

Proceeds from the event, which carried a $10 entry fee, will go to benefit the DCH Breast Cancer Fund and Arts n' Autism.
