Lee was one of five Minor League players honored by the Rangers at the conclusion of the 2022 season.
"I'm very proud of Chase and what he has accomplished in the minor leagues so far in his brief professional career," Alabama baseball head coach Brad Bohannon said. "No one who is associated with the Alabama Baseball program is surprised at the success he has had and will continue to have going forward. We are excited to continue to support Chase and to hopefully see him pitch in the Major Leagues very soon."

Lee began the season with Frisco, where he put up a 2.25 ERA over 21 games, before getting the call-up to Triple-A in June.
With the Round Rock Express, Lee posted a 1-1 record on the year with a 5.46 ERA over 31 innings pitched after allowing 11 earned runs over his first five outings. He would settle in, however, to deliver a 2.63 ERA with 34 strikeouts over his final 25 appearances.
During his time at The Capstone, Lee finished his career with a 9-0 record and nine saves to go along with a stunning 1.87 ERA over 49 career outings.
Lee shined the brightest in 2021 by finishing 7-0 with seven saves and a 1.33 ERA across 22 appearances. He earned third team All-America honors from the NCBWA his junior season and ABCA/Rawlings All-Southeast Region First Team accolades.
