Reading Of Declaration Of Independence Set For Friday At County Courthouse

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Ahead of Independence Day next week, the Sons of the American Revolution will host a reading of the Declaration of Independence on Friday, June 30.

The free event will begin at 8:30 a.m. at the Tuscaloosa County Courthouse.

The group will be dressed in period attire and multiple colonial era flags will be on display.

Water, ice cream and chairs will be available for attendees.

The Tuscaloosa County Courthouse is located at 714 Greensboro Avenue in Tuscaloosa.
