According to the commercial real estate firm's announcement, the renovation is designed to reposition the Bedford Place office complex with updated finishes, improved building systems and refreshed common areas to better meet the needs of today's office users.

Located across from North River Christian, the property sits within an established professional area that is already home to several medical practices and other office users.
The first building reportedly consists of 7,178 square feet and was constructed in 1977, while the second contains 6,768 square feet and was built in 1998.
Hamner Real Estate Agent Norman Crow told Patch that it was an honor and privilege to represent the buyer in the purchase of the property at Bedford Place Office Buildings.
"Bringing this buyer and seller together was truly a honor, and I am grateful to have played a role in helping make this transaction happen," Crow said. "I look forward to watching this property evolve and seeing the positive impact it will have on the surrounding area in the years to come."
Construction on the Bedford Place renovations is currently underway, with improvements expected to be completed in phases.
Right Space Commercial said additional updates will be shared as the project progresses.
The project is also part of the company's broader strategy of investing in and revitalizing commercial properties across West Alabama.
The renovations will include exterior improvements, updated building entrances, modernized interior common spaces and upgraded landscaping.
Right Space says the renovated buildings will be divided into multiple suites, with an emphasis on larger spaces that can accommodate medical and healthcare-related practices.
The work is also expected to enhance tenant amenities while extending the long-term value of the property.
Right Space Commercial said the goal is to create a more attractive and functional workplace environment for professional office tenants while maintaining operations throughout construction as much as possible.
Company officials described Bedford Place as a well-established office destination and said the investment reflects continued confidence in the local office market despite changing workplace trends.
Right Space is also looking for suggestions on naming the newly acquired property and asked Tuscaloosa Patch readers to provide their suggestions in the comments section on social media.
While construction on the aforementioned improvements is underway, Right Space Commercial says it is already speaking with prospective tenants and showing the property to businesses interested in future space.
Right Space says businesses searching for medical or professional office space in the Tuscaloosa or Northport area can contact Right Space Commercial to learn more about the project and discuss upcoming availability.
