TUSCALOOSA, AL — Iconic rock band Chicago will make a stop in Tuscaloosa next spring as part of what will mark the group's 60th consecutive year of touring.

Chicago is set to perform at the Mercedes-Benz Amphitheater on Thursday, April 1, 2027, with the show scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Gates will open at 6 p.m.

The band has sold more than 100 million albums worldwide during its decades-long career, earning multiple Grammy Awards and two American Music Awards.
Chicago has also produced 21 Top 10 singles, including 11 No. 1 hits, according to the concert announcement.

Fans in Tuscaloosa can expect a set featuring some of the band's best-known songs, including "Saturday in the Park," "25 or 6 to 4," "You're the Inspiration," "If You Leave Me Now" and "Hard to Say I'm Sorry."
Known for its distinctive horn-driven sound, Chicago has toured every year since the band's founding and is set to celebrate its 60th consecutive year on the road in 2027.
Tickets for the Tuscaloosa show go on sale to the general public Friday, Oct. 9, at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster and at the Mercedes-Benz Amphitheater Box Office.
The box office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.
A local presale is scheduled to begin Wednesday, Oct. 7, at 10 a.m.
