GREENSBORO, AL — A Hale County man has been arrested for murder in the shooting death of a Sawyerville man in Greensboro earlier this week.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency initially responded to a request of the Greensboro Police Department after the shooting death of Nicholas Nickson, 27, at approximately 12:53 a.m., Monday in the 200 Block of Jones Street in Greensboro.

ALEA special agents on Tuesday arrested Keoviance Kentrell Scott-Golsby, 23, also of Sawyerville.
He was charged with murder and booked into the Hale County Detention Facility.

ALEA says the investigation remains ongoing and additional arrests are expected.
