Sawyerville Man Killed, Two Injured In Tuscaloosa County Crash
A Sawyerville man was killed Wednesday night in a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle on Alabama Highway 69 South in Tuscaloosa County.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — A Sawyerville man was killed Wednesday night in a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle on Alabama Highway 69 South in Tuscaloosa County.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) said Willie P. Bryant was operating a 2004 Honda VTX1300C motorcycle around 8:15 p.m. when it was struck by a 2024 Chevrolet Blazer driven by a woman from Tuscaloosa.

ALEA said Bryant was thrown from the motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene.
The drier of the Blazer and a 14-year-old passenger were also was injured in the crash and transported to area hospitals for treatment.

ALEA said the crash occurred on Alabama Highway 69 near the 137 mile marker, approximately four miles south of the Tuscaloosa city limits in Tuscaloosa County.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
