Dubbed "Cocktail for a Cause," the initiative during September will see Brock Corder of The Builders Group match donations regularly made by Tito's Handmade Vodka, which also matches Session's donations every month to the non-profit it is partnering with.

This month's cocktail: The Dirty Shirley

Session Cocktails
  • The Dirty Shirley is a "twist on the classic Shirley Temple."
  • It is made with Tito's Handmade Vodka, house-made grenadine, lime, and Sprite.

"One of our core principals as a business is to positively impact the people that work for us, the people that join us for drinks, and the community we serve," Session Cocktails owner Hunter Wiggins said. “'Cocktail for a Cause' really helped us hit the mark of making a positive impact in people's lives."

The proceeds from this month's cocktail will be given to Habitat Tuscaloosa to honor the life and memory of Daniel Nielsen, who unexpectedly passed away in November 2021.

Nielsen served as president of the UA Habitat Campus Chapter from 2017-2019 and the group is honoring his legacy by building a home for a UA fraternity house food service employee who currently lives in an apartment with unsafe wiring.

Session Cocktails is located at 2221 University Boulevard in downtown Tuscaloosa.

Donations can also be made directly to Habitat Tuscaloosa by visiting its website.
