Shelton State Men's And Women's Basketball Ranked In Top 10 For Preseason

October 19, 2021 – When the National Junior College Athletic Association released preseason polls on Wednesday, Shelton State Community College’s men’s and women’s basketball teams each arrived in the top ten.

The 2021-22 NJCAA D1 Women’s Basketball preseason poll ranked the Lady Bucs at #6 and the Buccaneers at #8.

“As always, we are looking forward to an exciting season,” stated the College’s Athletic Director, Cara Crosslin. “Being recognized early in these polls is a great encouragement to our athletes as they pursue continued excellence and prepare for the challenges ahead.”
