Shelton State Schedules 'Admit Day' Events For Fall Semester

SSCC said classes remain available for the full and first terms with classes, beginning Aug. 21.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Shelton State Community College says registration for the fall semester will remain open with special events aimed to help those seeking assistance in the registration and admission process.

SSCC said classes remain available for the full and first terms with classes, beginning Aug. 21, while second term classes are also available and set to begin Oct. 12.

Admit Day events are scheduled for Aug. 8 and Aug. 12.

The first session on Aug. 8 will be held from 9 a.m. until noon on the C.A. Fredd Campus, while the second session of the day will be from 1:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. on the Martin Campus.

A third session will be held on Saturday, Aug. 12 from 9 a.m. until noon on the Martin Campus.

Attendees will be able to apply for admission and financial aid by completing a FAFSA, in addition to being able to speak with an advisor and register for classes.

Participants are asked bring high school/college transcripts, ACT/SAT scores if applicable, and 2021 tax returns to determine financial aid options.

SSCC will also offer campus tours.
