Stillman College Crowns Campus Royals To Kick Off Founder's Week

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Stillman College on Saturday crowned its royalty during a Coronation Ceremony in Birthright Alumni Hall.

In kicking off the 148th Founder's Week, Stillman College announced that Nya D. Fowler was crowned the 77th Miss Stillman and Kenyatta L. Lewis Jr. was crowned the fourth Mister Stillman.

Fowler is a native of Hueytown and is a senior biology major who has begun taking graduate classes at the University of Alabama

Fowler previously served as Miss Junior 2023-2024 and is a member of the Epsilon Eta Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and captain of Golden Perfection Dance. She was crowned by Jean A. Wilson — of the Stillman Class of 1990 — who was the 42nd Miss Stillman.

Wilson currently serves as Stillman's director of alumni affairs.

A native of the Bahamas, Lewis is a senior majoring in business administration with a concentration in cybersecurity.

He is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and is a former intern for ARD logistics who is currently interning with The Coley Agency in Tuscaloosa.

Lewis was crowned by Thomas Davis Jr. — Stillman Class of 2013 — a Royal Court sponsor and Upward Bound counselor.
