Stillman College Launches Give1876 Fundraiser

Stillman announced its Day of Giving fundraising goal is set at $75,000, with donors able to choose from passion projects.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Stillman College on Wednesday announced the launch of its short-term Give1876 fundraising effort that will allow the community to donate and help fund more than 30 programs and student and student organizations.

Stillman announced its Day of Giving fundraising goal is set at $75,000, with donors able to choose from passion projects ranging from academics to athletics.

"It's a day of unity, purpose, and the opportunity to invest in the future of our institution,” Stillman President Yolanda W. Page said. “Every donation, no matter the size, contributes to our mission of providing a world-class education to our students."

The online fundraiser will be open for a 32-hour-plus window, with campus organizations competing for top honors on the Day of Giving Leaderboard.

“With the bonds that fraternities and sororities hold, the Greek Challenge is a perfect avenue to engage new Stillman supporters and connect them with what we are building in Tuscaloosa," Stillman College Director of Philanthropy Tyler Davidson said. “As this year's Challenge progresses, Stillman asks you to reach out to your network of brothers and sisters and encourage them to get involved and make a difference in the future of Stillman College.”
