T-Town Tinsel Trail Opens: Our Top 10 Trees & Honorable Mentions

Here's a look at some of our favorite sights on Monday night when the Tuscaloosa Tinsel Trail officially opened in downtown.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tinsel Trail of Tuscaloosa officially opened to the public for the holidays on Monday, featuring over 190 live Christmas trees decorated by different companies and community groups in Government Plaza.

Tinsel Trail is a project by Tuscaloosa’s One Place, which serves over 11,000 people per year through after school programs, school social work, parenting and fatherhood, healthy relationship education, workforce development, and teen intervention programs.

The City of Tuscaloosa says the proceeds from The T-Town Tinsel Trail are used to support these programs and serve our local community.

The Tinsel Trail will last until Jan. 2, 2022 and is free for attendees.
