TA Tops List Of Best Private Schools In Tuscaloosa County: Niche
Tuscaloosa Academy and other area schools were recently ranked on one website's list of the Best Private Schools in Alabama.
TUSCALOOSA, AL — An annual report from Niche.com has once again ranked Tuscaloosa Academy as the best private high school in Tuscaloosa County and the No. 11 overall private school in the state of Alabama.

In its 2021-2022 installment, the ranking and review website used a range of metrics in determining the list, ultimately awarding Tuscaloosa Academy with an A, which is down from the A+ it received for the 2020-2021 school year.

Despite the small size of its student body likely being what worked against it in the rankings, The Capitol School in downtown Tuscaloosa was the only private institution in Tuscaloosa County to receive an A+ overall for its annual grade.
