TCHS Big Man, UAH-Signee Hall Selected For AL/MS All-Star Game
The University of Alabama-Huntsville signee will be the only representative of Tuscaloosa County when he plays in the annual showcase.

NORTHPORT, AL — Tuscaloosa County High School forward Bryson Hall was lauded by his head basketball coach on Tuesday as being an unselfish player — almost to a fault.
" I can't tell you how many times I got onto him for passing the ball to a teammate when he didn't need to," TCHS head coach Curt Weeks told Patch with a laugh. "I'd say, 'You need to be a little more selfish son, don’t worry about your teammates when you’re a foot from the goal.' But he's just a great teammate."
The 6-8 Wildcat big man and product of Collins-Riverside Middle School was a major contributor for the TCHS program over the last four years and Weeks said it came as no surprise that Hall was tapped for the 2021 Alabama/Mississippi All-Star Game this week.

BRYSON HALL CAREER STATS
Points: 1,092
Rebounds: 737
Assists: 193
"I'm looking forward to going down and watching him play in a big-time game," Weeks said. "This is a big deal. He’s excited about it and he should be excited about it."
Even after receiving news of his all-star status, though, his coach pointed out that Hall still showed humility in celebrating the accomplishment.

"It's great for the school, great for our program, but when he first found out about it, all he wanted to talk about was how happy he was for his teammates and our team and still tried to make it out to be a team thing," Weeks said.
Hall was a central force for the Wildcats during a 17-9 campaign in 2020, scoring 327 points on the year, and snagging the attention of college scouts.
After receiving scholarship offers from the University of North Alabama and University of Alabama-Huntsville, Hall opted to sign with Division II UAH and Chargers coach John Shulman.
"This kid’s best days are ahead of him," Weeks said.
The 2021 Alabama/Mississippi All-Star Games will be played Friday at the multiplex at Cramton Bowl in Montgomery, with the girl's game beginning at 5 p.m., followed by the boys game at 7 p.m.
The game can be viewed via live stream on NFHS Network.
