He then said the suspects — identified as Keondre Jazel McCall, 19, and Mance Quinnell McCall Jr, 19 — have both been charged with capital murder and denied bond.
"One of the elements of capital murder is if you kill more than one individual through more than one course of conduct," Kennedy explained, mentioning that both of the suspects were each charged for the two killings.

The two suspects are related as cousins, Kennedy said, and are from the Montgomery and Lowndes County area.
Kennedy said investigators worked all day Sunday and throughout the night to identify both victims, with police learning that a vehicle belonging to one of the victims had been located in the area of Hayneville in Lowndes County.
Kennedy also said the vehicle contained evidence of the homicides, which prompted VCU investigators to go to Lowndes County, where they worked alongside investigators, officers, and deputies of several agencies, including the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office, the Hayneville Police Department, the Ft. Deposit Police Department, the Alabama Department of Corrections, and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
"This cooperation was invaluable, and we would like to express our gratitude for the help and professionalism displayed by these departments," Kennedy said. "As the victims and suspects were from outside of Tuscaloosa County, and no suspects are now at large, there is no reason to believe that there is any danger to the Fosters community."
As Patch previously reported, suspicious activity was first reported on Interstate 59 near the 62 mile marker eastbound near Fosters. While deputies were on their way to the scene, another call was received from a witness driving a commercial truck that believed he had struck somebody on the interstate.
State Troopers responded to the scene as investigators worked to determine if the death was an accident, with evidence discovered at the scene prompting investigators to consider it a homicide.
Approximately 45 minutes later, just before 7 a.m. Sunday morning, the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office received another call reporting that an individual was laying right off of the roadway on Frog Ridge Road in Fosters. A welfare check was then made by deputies, who discovered the man had been shot to death.
Investigators said based on evidence discovered at the two scenes, the multiagency unit began to work under the presumption that criminal activity was involved in the two deaths, with the bodies being between 3 and 5 miles from one another when they were discovered.
