Teriyaki Madness Coming To Northport's North Square Shopping Center

NORTHPORT, AL — A new Asian fusion, fast casual eatery is coming to Northport.

City Council President Jeff Hogg on Tuesday announced that Teriyaki Madness will set up shop in the North Square shopping center off of McFarland Boulevard, between Guthries and Med 360 Urgent Care and Pharmacy .

This will be the first Teriyaki Madness restaurant in the Tuscaloosa area, with the brand boasting locations in over 20 states. The nearest location is in Hoover.

"You have asked for fresh, healthier options and to expand our area with other eating choices that aren’t fried chicken, burgers, or Mexican food and I’m glad to see this one make its next home in Northport," Hogg said on Facebook Tuesday.

The eatery specializes in Asian fusion bowls, including chicken or steak.

No timetable has been provided as to when the new restaurant will be open.
