Terrific Tuesday Concert Series Returns To Shelton State

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Shelton State Community College reopened its Terrific Tuesday Concert Series on Tuesday and will hold free shows throughout the fall in the Alabama Power Recital Hall on the Martin Campus.

Shelton State says the free concert series is designed to showcase a variety of repertory styles, with weekly performances offered by guest artists, along with Shelton State faculty and students.

Sept. 20 – Dr. Hannah Roberts, piano

Sept. 27 – Dr. Michael Averett, trumpet, and Dr. Cindy St. Clair, piano

Oct. 4 – Dr. Eun-Hee Park, piano

Oct. 11 – Dr. Edisher Savitski, piano

Oct. 18 – Student Musicale

Oct. 25 – Shelton State Bach to Rock Ensemble

Nov. 1 – Shelton State Jazz Combo

Nov. 15 – SSCC Student Voice Recital, Sophia Allen, soprano

Nov. 22 – Dr. Fingting Tang, piano

Nov. 29 – Annual Holiday Tree Lighting and Sing Along (Martin Campus Atrium)
