Thomas Rhett's Tuscaloosa Concert Rescheduled For September

TUSCALOOSA, AL — After an evening of severe weather delays, the Thomas Rhett concert scheduled for Thursday night at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater has been rescheduled.

The country music star took to Facebook to give updates to his fans, saying the concert will now take place on Sept. 8.

"I'm really, really sorry but we're not going to be able to do the show tonight due to severe lightning," he said. "As much as I would stay up til one o'clock in the morning and do this, like the curfew in this town is 11:30 and all of the people I've spoken to say the weather is not going to clear by then."

Tickets for Thursday night's concert will be honored at the September event.
