Thorsby Man Killed In Dallas County Wreck Friday Morning
Troopers are investigating a two-vehicle crash in Dallas County early Friday morning that left a Thorsby man dead and another man injured.
TUSCALOOSA, AL — A Chilton County man was killed early Friday morning in a two-vehicle crash near Selma.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency says 23-year-old Lane Dalton James, of Thorsby, was killed when when the 2007 Hyundai Elantra he was driving collided head-on with a 2007 Lincoln Town Car driven by a Selma man.

ALEA said James, who was not using a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other motorist involved was injured and transported to Vaughn Regional Medical Center in Selma. His condition is not known at this time.

The crash occurred just before 6 a.m. on Alabama Highway 14 near the 119 mile marker, approximately three miles east of Selma city limits in Dallas County.
