Three Tuscaloosa County Gridiron Stars Selected For AL-MS All-Star Game
The game will be held Dec. 16 at Carlisle H.H. Roberts Stadium in Hattiesburg on the campus of the University of Southern Mississippi.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Three Tuscaloosa County high school football standouts have been selected for the 37th annual Alabama-Mississippi All-Star football classic, which will be held Dec. 16 at Carlisle H.H. Roberts Stadium in Hattiesburg on the campus of the University of Southern Mississippi.

The Alabama High School Athletic Association said the state's team is comprised of 40 high school seniors, with Bibb County High School coach Matt Geohagan serving as an assistant on the Alabama coaching staff.

Hillcrest High School defensive back Travaris Banks, who has committed to Ole Miss, was selected to play for the Alabama team, along with Miami commit and Tuscaloosa County High running back Kevin Riley.
Brookwood High School offensive lineman and University of Alabama commit William Sanders rounds out the list for those selected from Tuscaloosa County.

Alabama holds a 25-11 lead over Mississippi in the series and won the contest in 2022 by a score of 14-10.
