Tide Football Releases Practice Video Showing Quarterbacks

TUSCALOOSA, AL — There's been no bigger ongoing story for the No. 4 Alabama Crimson Tide than its quarterback battle, with head coach Nick Saban declining to name a starter ahead of the season opener on Saturday with Middle Tennessee State.

At present, five quarterbacks could be seen on Monday throwing to receivers:
- (4) Jalen Milroe | 6'2" 220 lbs/red shirt sophomore/Katy, Texas.
- (8) Tyler Buchner | 6'1" 215 lbs/red shirt sophomore/San Diego, California
- (10) Eli Holstein | 6'4" 237 lbs/freshman/Zachary, Louisiana.
- (12) Dylan Lonergan | 6'2" 212 lbs/freshman/Snellville, Georgia.
- (15) Ty Simpson | 6'2" 203 lbs/red shirt freshman/Martin, Tennessee
Alabama will open the season on Saturday in Bryant-Denny Stadium, with kickoff set for 6:30 p.m.
