Tide Linebacker Charged With DUI After Multi-Vehicle Crash
Sophomore linebacker Quandarrius Robinson was jailed Sunday morning for driving under the influence following a crash in Tuscaloosa.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa Police Department says a linebacker for the University of Alabama football team stands charged with driving under the influence following a multi-vehicle wreck Saturday night.
Quandarrius Zemon Robinson, 20, was the driver of a Jeep involved in the crash, which occurred at approximately 11:18 p.m. at Hargrove Road and Prince Avenue.

TPD confirmed to Patch that a passing driver reported a wreck involving three vehicles and possible injuries. Once on scene, officers noted two of the vehicles had sustained heavy damage, but there were no injuries.
Robinson was then charged and booked into the Tuscaloosa County Jail Sunday morning with his bond set at $1,000. TPD said he would be released after either 12 hours or passing a sobriety test.

A sophomore from Birmingham, where he starred at Jackson-Olin High School, Robinson has yet to see playing time for the Crimson Tide. His status with the team is unclear at this time.
Alabama is set to open its season next Saturday in Atlanta against Miami.
