Tide Receiver Traeshon Holden Enters Transfer Portal

Holden​ announced on social media Wednesday that he has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal after three seasons with Alabama.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — University of Alabama junior wide receiver Traeshon Holden announced on social media Wednesday that he has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal.

The native of Kissimmee, Florida appeared in 29 total games over three years for head coach Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide, with 2022 proving to be his most successful campaign.

During the regular season, Holden snagged 25 catches for 331 yards and six touchdowns.

Holden's best performance during his time in Tuscaloosa came in the Tide's season opener against Utah State this season, with Holden logging 70 yards and two touchdowns on five catches.

Holden is the eighth Crimson Tide player to enter the portal and the second wide receiver to announce his intentions to leave the program after Christian Leary revealed on Wednesday that he was also transferring.
