TUSCALOOSA, AL — Alabama shortstop Justin Lebron has been named a Second Team Preseason All-American by D1Baseball.com.

The honor marks the second preseason All-America recognition for Lebron entering the 2026 season. Earlier this offseason, the junior was selected as a First Team Preseason All-American by Perfect Game USA.

Lebron, a junior shortstop, started all 59 games in the middle infield for Alabama during the 2025 season. He batted .316, collecting 73 hits in 231 at-bats, with 18 doubles, one triple and 18 home runs.

His offensive production also included 72 RBIs, 60 runs scored, 35 walks, 10 hit-by-pitches and 17 stolen bases in 18 attempts.

Lebron's 72 RBIs were the most ever by a shortstop and by a sophomore in Alabama program history.

Following the 2025 campaign, Lebron earned Second Team All-America honors from ABCA/Rawlings and was also named a Third Team All-American by the National College Baseball Writers Association and Perfect Game USA.

The Crimson Tide baseball team will kick off the 2026 season on Feb. 13 against Washington State at Sewell-Thomas Stadium.
