Tide Soccer With 5 On SEC Preseason List; Season Begins Thursday

TUSCALOOSA, AL — No. 7 Alabama soccer announced on Tuesday that five players were selected to the Southeastern Conference preseason watchlist.

Midfielder Felicia Knox, a senior from Kansas City, Missouri, made her third straight appearance on the preseason list. The All-American and reigning NCAA assists leader, Knox logged 20 during the 2022 season.

Midfielder Macy Clem, a graduate student from Conifer, Colorado, was also selected for the second time.

The Crimson Tide had three players earn their first appearance on the preseason list.

• Gianna Paul (Forward/Sophomore/Huntington Station, New York)
• Sasha Pickard (Defender/Graduate Student/Saratoga, California)
• Gessica Skorka (Defender/Senior/Plano, Texas)

Alabama soccer will open the 2023 season at home against DePaul on Thursday at 7 p.m.
