TUSCALOOSA, AL — Alabama soccer standout Gianna Paul tied the program record for career goals Thursday in a 2-1 loss at No. 17 South Carolina in the Southeastern Conference opener.

Paul, a senior from Huntington Station, New York, scored her record-tying 33rd goal in the 51st minute, matching Libby Probst’s mark set from 2002-05.
