The award marks the third time this season the Alabama men’s basketball standout has earned the honor.

A native of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Allen helped lead the Crimson Tide to a pair of conference victories last week, averaging 12.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, 3 assists and 1.5 steals per game in wins over Mississippi State Bulldogs and Oklahoma Sooners.
Allen recorded his fourth double-double of the season in Alabama’s road win at Mississippi State, finishing with 13 points and 13 rebounds.

Through conference play, Allen ranks fifth in the Southeastern Conference in rebounding, pulling down an average of 7.8 boards per game.
Alabama Athletics says Allen is the first Crimson Tide freshman to record 10 or more rebounds in multiple games since Noah Clowney and Brandon Miller accomplished the feat during the 2022–23 season.
The Crimson Tide returns to action on Saturday, Jan. 24 against Tennessee inside Coleman Coliseum.
Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
