Tide's Brandon Miller Earns SEC Freshman Of The Week For Fourth Time This Season
The honor marks the second straight week Miller has received the award and the fourth time during the 2022-23 season.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — It should come as little surprise to many, but the accolades just keep rolling in for talented Crimson Tide freshman Brandon Miller, who was named Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Week on Monday.

The honor marks the second straight week Miller has received the award and the fourth time during the 2022-23 season. What's more, the Crimson Tide basketball team has now seen its players win SEC Freshman of the Week six of the 10 weeks this season.

Miller was presented the award for his performances in wins over Ole Miss and Kentucky, where he averaged 18 points and 6 rebounds over the week.
In the winning effort, Miller led the Tide in scoring for both games, knocking down 17 points against the Rebels and 19 in the blowout win over Kentucky.

Apart from Miller, James Robinson is the only other Alabama player to win four SEC weekly awards in the same season.
No. 4 Alabama (13-2, 3-0 SEC) will take to the road for its next contest, traveling to Fayetteville on Wednesday to take on Arkansas (12-2, 1-1 SEC).
Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on ESPN 2.
