TPD Gives Updates On Search For Missing Tuscaloosa Woman

The Tuscaloosa Police Department is still working to locate a Tuscaloosa woman reported missing on Wednesday.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa Police Department is still working to locate a Tuscaloosa woman reported missing on Wednesday. However, investigators say they have located a man they believe may have additional information as to her whereabouts.

As Patch previously reported, Alisa Brooke Guy, 30, and Eric Frank Steinwinder, 43, both became the subjects of a search by TPD after Guy's mother contacted police Tuesday to report her daughter missing, saying she hadn't heard from her since last Thursday.

TPD said on Wednesday that investigators spoke with Steinwinder, who said he and Guy traveled to Jackson, Mississippi together last Thursday.

Steinwinder then reportedly informed investigators that he returned alone Monday.

After he spoke with investigators, Steinwinder was booked into the Tuscaloosa County Jail on an outstanding warrant from another agency.

TPD has yet to locate Guy.

Guy is described as having brown hair and hazel eyes. TPD says she is 5'4" and weighs approximately 200 pounds.
