TPD Looking For Felony Hit-And-Run Suspect Who Struck Skateboarder

The Tuscaloosa Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying a vehicle and driver involved in a felony hit-and-run.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying a vehicle and driver involved in a felony hit and run that left a pedestrian with minor injuries.

TPD provided a security camera photo of the white Audi that struck a skateboarder in the crosswalk at University Boulevard and 21st Avenue on April 16.

Investigators said the 22-year-old victim was struck while legally crossing around 8 p.m. that night near Taco Mama and the federal courthouse. Witnesses reported that the driver of the Audi briefly slowed down, but never stopped and kept driving downhill toward Jack Warner Parkway.

TPD says the white Audi A6 would be from 2012-2018.

What's more, the driver's side mirror was damaged and fell out during the collision. However, the mirror house remained intact on the vehicle.
