Misfire Injures Man At Tuscaloosa Gunsmith

Tuscaloosa Police say the man suffered injuries that were not thought to be life-threatening after being hit by a ricochet.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — A man was transported to DCH with injuries that weren't believed to be life-threatening after an accidental shooting at a Tuscaloosa business Monday afternoon.

The Tuscaloosa Police Department told local media that officers were called to Tuscaloosa Gunsmith on 1605 23rd Avenue Monday on the call at approximately 1:30 p.m.

Once on scene, officers determined that the man was injured when a gun misfired, resulting in the man being struck by a richochet.

No foul play is suspect in the case.
