TPD Motorcycle Officer Injured In Crash Saturday Night
A Tuscaloosa Police Department motorcycle officer was injured in a collision with a vehicle Saturday evening.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — A Tuscaloosa Police Department motorcycle officer was injured in a collision with a vehicle Saturday evening.

TPD confirms the collision occurred at approximately 11:45 p.m. at 13th Street and 10th Avenue while the motorcycle officer was working escort detail.

While few details about the crash are available at this time, TPD said the officer suffered injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.
TPD also said bystanders that were nurses provided medical assistance until paramedics arrived and the officer was transported to DCH Regional Medical Center for treatment.
