TPD: Tuscaloosa Man Punched Woman, Bit And Cut Second Victim

Here's the latest following a domestic dispute Thursday morning that injured two people at a Tuscaloosa apartment complex.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa Police Department has provided additional details following an altercation Thanksgiving morning that left two people with minor injuries. The call initially came in 8:04 a.m. from Forester Gardens Apartments at 1350 James I. Harrison Jr. Parkway.

While the initial call came in of two people suffering knife wounds, TPD says 36-year-old Pasha Darget is accused of punching a 46-year-old female victim and biting a 22-year-old male victim.

Darget also reportedly used a kitchen knife to cut the male victim on his hand.

The victims were transported to DCH Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.

The dispute was domestic in nature, TPD said, with Darget arrested for second-degree assault and domestic violence/third-degree assault.

Darget, 36, was being held in the Tuscaloosa County Jail Thursday afternoon with bond set at $7,500 for the felony assault charge and $1,000 for the misdemeanor domestic violence charge.
