Tuscaloosa Area Schools To Dismiss Early Due To Severe Weather Threat
With the threat of severe weather looming, both the Tuscaloosa County School System and Tuscaloosa City Schools will dismiss early.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — With the threat of severe weather looming, both the Tuscaloosa County School System and Tuscaloosa City Schools will dismiss early.

In an announcement to parents, TCSS says it will dismiss students at 12:30 p.m., while TCS elementary schools including Tuscaloosa Magnet Schools and The Alberta School of Performing Arts will dismiss at 11:30 a.m.

TCS middle schools will dismiss at 12 p.m., in addition to high schools and S.T.A.R.S. Academy dismissing at 12:30 p.m. All after school activities for TCS and TCSS have been canceled.
For TCSS students, lunch and bus transportation will be provided.
