Tuscaloosa Children's Theatre​ Gearing Up For 'Matilda, Jr.'

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Tuscaloosa Children's Theatre is gearing up to present its production of "Matilda, Jr." at the Bama Theatre April 28-30.

Based on the 1988 Roald Dahl book "Matilda," the humorous production is a "witty ode to the anarchy of childhood and the power of imagination ... This story of a girl who dreams of a better life and the children she inspires will have audiences rooting for the 'revolting children' who are out to teach the grown-ups a lesson."

Tickets are priced at $20 for premium seats, $15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors.

• April 29 - 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. ($5 discount)
• April 30 - 2 p.m.
