Tuscaloosa City Schools Announces Graduation Ceremony Details

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Tuscaloosa City Schools on Friday announced dates and details for graduation ceremonies for the Class of 2022 from its three high schools.

Ceremonies will be held at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater over the course of three days, with gates opening one hour prior to the 6 p.m. start time for each school.

All guests, including children, will need a ticket for entry, with a maximum of 20 tickets will be given to each family.

TCS says the ceremonies will also be streamed live on the school system's YouTube channel, which can be accessed here.

The school system then pointed out that the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater has a clear bag policy in place, in addition to bans on outside food or drink, weapons, umbrellas, flowers, or signs.

Here are the dates and corresponding schools:

  • May 16 - Paul W. Bryant High School
  • May 17 - Central High School
  • May 18 - Northridge High School
