As part of the proposed salary schedule, school system employees could be getting raises anywhere from 4% to 20.81%.

TCS Human Resources Executive Director Deron Cameron says educators who have worked the longest will receive the highest percent raise, while an additional step raise will be included for classified employees.

What's more, educators tied to the salary matrix approved by the Alabama Legislature earlier this year will have their pay increase funded by the state, while others will be funded with local dollars.
