TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa County Commission is set to convene for its regular meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 3 at 9 a.m. in the Commission Chambers of the Tuscaloosa County Courthouse.

  • An unspecific allocation of the County's Simplified Sellers Use Tax Program
  • An annual holiday shutdown for the County Road & Bridge Department. If passed, the break will begin at the end of business day on Friday, Dec. 17, 2021, with operations resume operations Monday, Jan. 3, 2022.
  • Confirmation of a policy regarding dependent coverage of county retirees
  • A measure to accept Benton Sod Farm Road into the County's maintenance program, from Fosters Loop Road to Lackey Lane.
  • A District 3 discretionary fund allocation in the amount of $5,000 to the Duncanville Volunteer Fire Department.
