TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa County School System (TCSS) is providing free breakfast and lunch to all children and teens age 18 and younger throughout June, regardless of whether they are enrolled in the school system.

The summer feeding program will operate June 1-5, June 8-12, June 15-18 and June 22-26 at 13 schools and educational facilities across Tuscaloosa County.

In addition to on-site meals, several locations designated by the U.S. Department of Agriculture as Rural Designated Sites will distribute free take-home weekend meal packages on June 5, 12, 18 and 26.
Children must be present to receive the meals, which include two breakfasts and two lunches that do not require refrigeration or cooking.

The following sites will serve breakfast and lunch during the program, listed in descending order:
- Westwood Elementary — Breakfast: 7:30-8 a.m.; Lunch: 10:50 a.m.-noon
- Walker Elementary — Breakfast: 7:30-8 a.m.; Lunch: 10:50 a.m.-noon
- Vance Elementary — Breakfast: 7:30-8 a.m.; Lunch: 10:50 a.m.-noon
- Northport Elementary — Breakfast: 7:30-8 a.m.; Lunch: 10:50 a.m.-noon
- Myrtlewood Elementary — Breakfast: 7:30-8 a.m.; Lunch: 10:50 a.m.-noon
- Maxwell Elementary — Breakfast: 7:30-8 a.m.; Lunch: 10:50 a.m.-noon
- Matthews Elementary — Breakfast: 7:30-8 a.m.; Lunch: 10:50 a.m.-noon
- Lloyd Wood Education Center — Breakfast: 7:30-8 a.m.; Lunch: 11-11:30 a.m.
- Lake View Elementary — Breakfast: 7:30-8 a.m.; Lunch: 10:50 a.m.-noon
- Holt Elementary — Breakfast: 7:30-8 a.m.; Lunch: 10:50 a.m.-noon
- Flatwoods Elementary — Breakfast: 7:30-8 a.m.; Lunch: 10:50 a.m.-noon
- Echols Middle School — Breakfast: 6:30-8 a.m.; Lunch: 10:30 a.m.-noon
- Big Sandy Elementary — Breakfast: 7:30-8 a.m.; Lunch: 10:50 a.m.-noon
