Congratulations to Caitlin Dufour and Daniel Hammett on being named Seminfinalists in the 2022 National Merit Scholarship Program! Both students are seniors at Tuscaloosa County High School.

The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) serves as an initial screen of program entrants. The nationwide pool of Semifinalists, representing less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors, includes the highest-scoring entrants in each state. Semifinalists have an opportunity to continue in the competition for National Merit Scholarships, worth a total of nearly $30 million.
