TUSCALOOSA, AL — Local law enforcement agencies will have several locations set up on Saturday for the federal Drug Enforcement Agency's Drug Takeback Day.

Dropoff locations will be available from 10 a.m. — 2 p.m., offering area residents a safe way to dispose of unused or expired medication.

The West Alabama Narcotics Task Force says medication in the form of tablets, capsules, patches will be accepted, while syringes or sharps cannot be accepted.

Police also asks those dropping off medicine to tightly seal any products/syrups.
